Group taking nominations
Mediators of Southern Nevada Inc. is accepting nominations for the 5th Annual Peacemaker of the Year Awards.
The six peacemaker awards will be given at a dinner during Nevada Mediation Week in September. The group will be holding workshops Sept. 15-21 that encourage people to be peacemakers and mend broken relationships.
The organization would like people who create peaceful environments in all parts of the community to be nominated. All entries must be submitted by Aug. 15, and delivered to Mediators of Southern Nevada, 333 N. Rancho Dr. #144, Las Vegas, NV 89106.
