ATLANTIC CITY -- The three New Jersey gaming halls of Park Place Entertainment Corp. of Las Vegas have been fined a total of $75,000 for underage gambling and drinking violations.
The Casino Control Commission on Wednesday fined Caesars Atlantic City Hotel Casino $35,000 in a case involving a 13-year-old girl arrested by state police for playing the slots there in November 1998. Gambling is illegal for anyone younger than 21.
Caesars also must pay $10,000 for permitting a 17-year-old to play slots, also in November 1998.
The Atlantic City Hilton was fined $10,000 for allowing an 18-year-old woman to play blackjack in May 1999 and for serving her alcoholic beverages.
The commission fined Bally's Park Place $20,000 in connection with the July 1999 arrest of a 20-year-old woman who played the Big Six wheel.
