Several homeowners of Colorado Bay Club Owners Association were awarded $6.86 million by a Clark County jury after a nearly month-long trial of a construction defect lawsuit it filed in 1999 against Capital Pacific Homes Inc., formerly known as Durable Homes.
Colorado Bay alleged defects including leaking roofs and windows and electrical problems in some 156 condominiums built by Durable Homes in Laughlin. The condominiums are at El Mirage Way and Needles Highway.
