LV’s Bobrow 1st among locals

Las Vegas's Ben Bobrow was the top local finisher among the 35 Nevada finishers in Monday's Boston Marathon.
Bobrow took 616th overall in 2 hours, 56 minutes and 28 seconds. Only one other Nevada runner, Aaron Shiels of Las Vegas, broke the 3-hour barrier. Shiels was 849th overall in 2:59.31.
The top finishing Nevada woman was Jenny Capel of Reno in 3:12.57. She was 1,945th overall. Kayoko Wadsworth of Las Vegas was the fastest local woman, recording a time of 3:14.33.
