51s postponed in Omaha

DES MOINES, Iowa -- After having their Monday night game in Omaha postponed because of cold and windy conditions, the Las Vegas 51s will try to resume their eight-game road swing tonight here against the Iowa Cubs.
The contest was originally scheduled to be a day game. However, it was switched to a 5:05 PDT start with Wednesday's game getting moved to 10:05 a.m. PDT.
Monday night's game was cancelled because of predictions that temperatures would be in the 20s at game time and be accompanied by 20 to 30 mph gusts. It is expected to be made up as part of a doubleheader when Omaha visits Las Vegas on June 1-4.
Right-hander Giovanni Carrara (0-1, 2.25) is expected to start tonight's game, opposed by Iowa right-hander Carlos Zambrano.
