Fired president sues tech firm

A former executive of HelloNetwork.com Inc. of Las Vegas sued the company, alleging he was wrongfully fired and not paid allegedly promised benefits and stock options.

In a Clark County District Court lawsuit, Paul Henry, who was hired as the company's president in October 1999 and terminated in June, said he was assured by the company of having long-term employment, stock options and benefits.

Henry accused the company of slander and defamation when it allegedly stated to third parties that he was "unfit for his job position."

HelloNetwork.com's attorney couldn't be reached for comment on the allegations.
