Rick Richards was named senior vice president and general manager of the Hard Rock hotel-casino, owner Peter Morton announced.
Richards replaces Jonathan Swain, who resigned last week. Richards' appointment was effective Wednesday.
Richards most recently served as senior vice president of casino operations at the New York-New York. Previously, he served as vice president of gaming operations at the Hard Rock for one year.
