Gaming industry supplier WMS Industries Inc. of Chicago, maker of the popular Monopoly slot machine, said it hired Scott Schweinfurth as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.
Schweinfurth succeeds Jeffrey Schroader, who WMS said is leaving to pursue other business interests.
Schweinfurth left March 20 as CFO of WMS competitor Alliance Gaming Corp. of Las Vegas. Alliance makes Bally slot machines, operates casinos and has slot routes.
