City Council sets asides funds for community center

The Las Vegas City Council has approved the sale of up to $8 million in bonds to build a community center.
Neighborhood Services Director Sharon Segerblom said the center will be available in less than two years.
The center will feature an outdoor plaza for community gatherings and meeting rooms and crafts facilities. It will serve a predominantly Hispanic area of eastern Las Vegas.
