Florence S. Anderson, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 7, 1914, in Syracuse, N.Y. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Carl L. Anderson of Las Vegas, Roy W. Anderson of New Market, Md., and Erik D. Anderson of Gaithersburg, Md.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

No local services scheduled. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. handled arrangements.

Arnold Bernard Berger

Arnold Bernard Berger, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 6, 1927, in New York state. A resident for 10 years, he was an aircraft electronics technician, an Army veteran and a member of the Jewish War Veterans Post 30.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Michelle Feinberg and Susan Schultz; one brother Norman Berger; and eight grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled 11 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society handled arrangements.

Marilyn E. Carmichael

Marilyn E. Carmichael, 73, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Nov. 8, 1925, in Los Angeles. A resident for two years, she was a retired department store controller.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell L.; one daughter, Toni Pedley of Henderson; one son, Michael Carmichael of Delhi Iowa; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Rebecca D. Chesser

Rebecca D. Chesser, 55, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born May 12, 1943, in Clarksburg, W. Va. A resident for 16 years, she was a dog breeder.

She is survived by one son, Jamie Marone of Henderson; her mother, Anne Dillmore of Clarksburg; two sisters, Jeanne Mason of Martinville, W. Va., and Shirley Fain of San Diego; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Prenticesteen Cole

Prenticesteen Cole, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 5, 1945, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 46 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her companion, Gary Selmon; one daughter, LaTonya Cole of San Diego; seven sons, George Cole, D'Andre Cole, Reindell Cole, Marcell Selmon, Gary Selmon, Mario Selmon and Marshone Selmon, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Roy T. Hill of Las Vegas; and one sister, Rosie Mary Selmon of San Diego; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, 1111 N. F St. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Wilfred D. Dolan

Wilfred D. Dolan, 95, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Dec. 13, 1902, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 25 years, he was an aircraft inspector for the Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara.

Services are private. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North is handling arrangements.

James A. Domm

James A. Domm, 51, of Las Vegas died Feb. 16 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 11, 1947, in New York state. A resident for six months, he was a teacher.

He is survived by one son, Robert Domm of Fresno, Calif.

Ruby L. DuChien

Ruby L. DuChien, 84, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 1, 1914, in Colorado. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Charles A.; two daughters, Evelyn Day of Eldorado Hills, Calif., Linda M. Smith of Henderson; one son, William E. Schnuckel of Henderson; one sister, Grace Gross of Henderson; one brother, Ray Worden of Downey, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson handled arrangements.

Alfred N. Freeman, Sr.

Alfred N. Freeman, Sr., 55, of North Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 3, 1943, in Charleston, S.C. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and a Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Edith; four daughters, Judy Freeman of Ferriday, La., Yvette Freeman, Lynn Freeman and Cheryl Freeman, all of Las Vegas; one son, Alfred N. Freeman Jr. of Las Vegas; his mother, Lula M. Freeman of Charleston; three sisters, Edward Ann Mata of Los Angeles, Dolores Simmons of Charleston and Yvonne Roper of New York state; one brother, Anthony Freeman of Atlanta; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be noon Saturday. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Allyn Earlyne Gallo

Allyn Earlyne Gallo, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 29, 1918, in Commerce, Texas. A resident for 54 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Marlyne Gallo of Las Vegas; two sons, John Gallo of Las Vegas and David Gallo of Perris, Calif.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be noon Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

P.L. Green

P.L. Green, 64, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born July 13, 1934, in Taylor, Texas. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired Marine Corps sergeant major and a Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary M.; two sons, Prince Green Jr. of California and Anthony Garo of Hawaii; two daughters, Mary Jane Gines and Gloria Valentin, both of Hawaii; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be noon Friday. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Ronald K. Henning, 55, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 10, 1943, in Chicago. A resident for seven years, he was a pharmacist.

He is survived by his wife, Linda J.; one son, Craig E. Henning of Chicago; one daughter, Sharon K. Henning of Los Angeles; and two sisters, Marilyn Schrage of Lexington, S.C. and Joanne Reynolds of Bradington, Fla.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

John Holliday

John Holliday, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 6, 1943, in Canton, Miss. A resident for 30 years, he was a 21 dealer.

He is survived by two sons, Rodger Holliday of San Diego and Scott Holliday of Pascagoula, Miss.; two daughters, Melinda Holliday of San Diego and Stephanie Harleman of Indianapolis; one brother, William Holliday of Pinehurst, N.C.

A memorial service was scheduled 3 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.

Barbara Kobes

Barbara Kobes, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 19, 1915, in Illinois. A longtime resident, she was a homemaker.

Mary Krhounek, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born March 2, 1921, in Illinois. A resident for six months, she was a cafeteria attendant.

Robert H. Marwin, 72, of Las Vegas died Jan. 31 in Las Vegas. He was born July 17, 1926, in Illinois. A resident for 15 years, he was a manager for a paint manufacturing company.

Peggy Fern Monaco

Peggy Fern Monaco, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born June 30, 1923, in Paulding, Ohio. A resident for one year, she was a registered nurse and an Eagles member.

She is survived by one son, Larry Coil of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Peter D. Penny

Peter D. Penny, 41, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 23, 1958, in Michigan City, Ind. A longtime resident, he was a chef.

He is survived by his wife, R. Rene; one son, Braden Penny and one daughter, Kelsea Andersen-Penny, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Cyndy Kutzer of Greensboro, N.C.

Services will be in California. American Cremation and Burial Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Pat F. Phoenix

Pat F. Phoenix, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 23, 1917, in Arkansas. A resident for 2 1/2 years, she was a beautician.

She is survived by one daughter, Karen P. Lenik of Las Vegas; one son, Glen D. Phoenix of Long Beach, Calif.; one sister, Jackie Morrow of Siloam Springs, Ark.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Grace Elizabeth Rendall, 91, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born May 11, 1907, in Boston. A resident for nine years, she was a retired greeting card associate.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Rendall of Henderson and Edward Rendall of Randolph, Mass.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Frederick E. Stewart, 42, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 2, 1957, in Boulder City. A lifelong resident, he was a convention sales contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Janet; two daughters, Tiffany Stewart and Samantha Stewart, one son, Brant Stewart, and his mother, Audra Stewart, all of Henderson; one brother, Richard Stewart of Las Vegas; and one sister, Diana Tally of California.

Peter Trujillo, 41, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 8, 1957, in Fairview, N.M. A resident for 28 years, he was a barber and a coach for Marty Barrett Little League.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; one son Peter Joseph Trujillo Jr.; one daughter, Jennifer Heil and his mother, Elvie Trujillo, both of Las Vegas; four sisters, Ruby Garcia of Alamosa, Colo., Molly Mascarenas of Dixon, N.M., and Veronica Miranda and Matilda Villa of Las Vegas; two brothers, Eddie Martinez and Daniel Trujillo, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Services were scheduled 2 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Isidra C. Villa-Real

Isidra C. Villa-Real, 93, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 15, 1905, in the Philippines. A resident for 12 years, she was a teacher for more than 40 years.

She is survived by one son, Antony-Euclid C. Villa-Real of Las Vegas; one daughter, Olivia C. Villa-Real Jacobsen of Eagle Rock, Calif.; one brother, Filemon Canchela of Long Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Estela C. Tamayo of Los Angeles and Visitacion Tan of the Philippines; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
