Tourist crossing street struck by limousine

Sumiko Hasegawa, 52, a tourist from Hyogo, Japan, was dead at the scene of the 9:25 p.m. accident Tuesday, police said.
Police said Ms. Hasegawa was hit while crossing from the north to south curb on Tropicana Avenue outside a marked crosswalk. She had been staying in a nearby hotel.
Ronald Bouchard, 53, of Las Vegas stopped the limousine after the accident, but the woman was pinned underneath.
One passenger suffered minor injuries and another passenger was not injured, police said.
