Doris Vincent Allen, 65, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 22, 1932, in Colorado. A resident for 18 years, she was an accountant and a member of Business Women's Association.

She is survived by one brother, Darrel Vincent of California; and three sisters, Loretta McFarlin, Phyllis Schmit and Sylvia Greer, all of Colorado.

LINDA M. ARAGON

Linda M. Aragon, 13, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1985, in California. A resident for 10 years, she was a student.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Paine of California; her father, Patrick Aragon, and one brother, Billy Aragon, both of Las Vegas.

RUSSELL BORGOMAINERIO

Russell Borgomainerio, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 20, 1923, in Philadelphia. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired World War II Marine Corps veteran, a job placement counselor, a bartender at Jerry's Nugget and a member of the Mensa Society.

He is survived by three daughters, Jeannie Scurlock of Las Vegas, Teresa Freeman of Dallas and Renata Borgomainerio of Santa Rosa, Calif.; one son, Russell Borgomainerio of Fairfield, Iowa; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

ERNEST R. CARTER

Ernest R. Carter, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 23, 1915, in Benton Harbor, Mich. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue; two sons, Larry Carter and David A. Carter, and one daughter, Loretta Snyder Koch, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Roger Carter of Coloma, Mich.; two sisters, Florabell Aurand of Mottville, Mich., and Elizabeth Myers of Cedar Rapids, Mich.; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Thursday in Spring Valley Baptist Church. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

WILLIS CRAMER

Willis Cramer, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 25, 1922, in New Mexico. A resident for 11 years, he was an electrical technician for the federal government, a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a member of the 4th Marines.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda; one son, Butch of California; one daughter, Renee, and one sister, Edith Armstrong, both of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

JUNE DANA

June Dana, 60, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 30, 1937, in West Palm Beach, Fla. A resident for 26 years, she was a change person in the gaming industry.

She is survived by one son, Allen Knapp of Lake Forrest, Calif.; one daughter, Denise Silver, and one sister, Doris Ambuehl, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

MARC RICHARD DIARENZO

Marc Richard DiArenzo, 27, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 16, 1971, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a chef for 10 years.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanne Shugarman, his father, Anthony DiArenzo, one daughter, Britney Leanne DiArenzo, one brother, Brian, one sister, Paige, and his grandmother, Ruby Johnson, all of Las Vegas.

BRIGITTE FAST

Brigitte Fast, 53, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 23, 1945, in Germany. A resident for 35 years, she was a drapery seamstress and a member of the German American Club.

She is survived by one son, Christopher J. Ballance of Las Vegas; one sister, Heidi Killian of Germany; and two grandchildren.

DOROTHY M. FIEDLER

Dorothy M. Fiedler, 77, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. She was born July 13, 1920, in Chicago. A resident for two years, she was a retired secretary for a scientific technology firm.

She is survived by two daughters, Jo Anne Fiedler of Henderson and Gloria Nees of Hayward, Wis.; one brother, Frank Hare of Norridge, Ill.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled noon-2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, followed by graveside services in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

The family suggests contributions to a local hospice of the donor's choice.

Joe Guski, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 23, 1917, in Washburn, Wis. A resident for 36 years, he was a retired tree service owner-operator and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his companion, Cletta Garrison, and two sons, Kenneth Guski and Edward Guski, all of Las Vegas; two daughters, Donna Moats of Las Vegas and Delight Chael of Tracy, Calif.; two brothers, Lawrence Guski of Washburn and Frank Guski of Roselle, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

WILLIAM D. HALL

William D. Hall, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 1, 1924, in Newark, N.J. A resident for 4 1/2 years, he was a retired aerospace engineer of 40 years, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and pilot and World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Lovelace-Hall; two daughters, Jaye Hall-Link of Sequim, Wash., and Kerrida Liskey of Wolfcreek, Ore.; two brothers, Ed Hall of California and Francis Hall of Louisiana; one sister, Loyce Kinzel of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

RANDY LAMARCA

Randy LaMarca, 47, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 5, 1950, in Downey, Calif. A resident for 20 years, she was a bartender.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy; two daughters, Christene Shodwell and Patrice Stoops, two sons, George Shodwell and Keith Shodwell, and her mother, Harlene Blair, all of Las Vegas; her father, Herman Hadler, and four brothers, Robert Hadler, Terry Poland, James Poland and Thomas Poland, all of Los Angeles; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Patricia L. McCarthy, 68, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. She was born April 6, 1930, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 11 years, she was a waitress.

She is survived by her husband, John J.; four sons, Christopher Howell, Michael LaLonde and Tim LaLonde, all of Florida, and Thomas McCarthy of Texas; four daughters, Sandra Gallet of Alabama, Jeanette Chicoine and Faye Walters, both of Florida, and Kimberly McMasters of Texas; one brother, Frank Scarbrough; three sisters, Veronica Fryer and Helen May, both of Florida, and Nancy Benner of Texas; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Judith McRae, 54, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 24, 1943, in Many, La. A resident for 23 years, she was disabled.

She is survived by one daughter, Karla Deneen of Henderson; her mother, Effie Maxey of Shreveport, La.; and two grandchildren.

Joe Merriman, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born April 24, 1920, in Stroud, Okla. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired lumberman and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita; two sons, Frank Merriman of Las Vegas and Clinton Merriman of Federal Way, Wash.; one sister, Dorothy DellRosa of Ontario, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

JOSEPH MATTHEW MORROW

Joseph Matthew Morrow, 33, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born March 7, 1965, in Las Vegas. A resident for 10 years, he was a laborer.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Forrest J. and Diane Morrow of Las Vegas; five sisters, Amy Berkowitz, Gabrielle Berkowitz and Jenna Sandberg, all of California, and Rachael Eklund and Johneen Morrow, both of Las Vegas; and one brother, Russell Morrow of Kentucky.

Glenn F. Muchow, 89, of Boulder City died Friday in a California care center. He was born Oct. 22, 1908, in Montana. A resident for 52 years, he was an accountant for the federal government, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Sigma Chi and the Elks in Boulder City.

He is survived by one daughter, Glenna Ramsay of Diamond Bar, Calif.; one son, Richard Glenn Muchow of Carlsbad, Calif.; one sister, Mildred Miller of Moore, Mont.; one brother, David Muchow of Salt Lake City; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Boulder City Cemetery.

Mary Frances Mullen, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 23, 1919. A resident for nine years, she worked in telecommunications.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Edward; two sons, Charles Edward Mullen and Gregory Michael Mullen; three daughters, Patrice Marie Wisely, Barbara Ann Theis and Mary Eileen Mullen; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Pennsylvania. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

WALLACE 'WALLY' PALMER

Wallace "Wally" Palmer, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 31, 1923, in Knoxville, Iowa. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired machine mechanic supervisor for the Postal Service and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Jody Plante of Las Vegas; two brothers, Paul Palmer of Ames, Iowa, and Morris Palmer of Elmhurst, Ill.; and one grandchild.

Brown of Las Vegas and Patricia A. Robinson of California; three brothers, Henry W. Robinson, George F. Bea Salamone, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born July 24, 1915, in Everett, Mass. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired waitress.

She is survived by one niece, Judith E. Treat of Las Vegas; and one nephew, William Grant Aynes of Hesperia, Calif.

Robert C. Simmons, 65, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 25, 1932, in Yuba City, Calif. A resident for 33 years, he was a funeral director, a Korean War veteran, involved in the Henderson Kiwanis Club since 1984 and was Kiwanis Club president for two years and treasurer for four years.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Denny Simmons and Bryan Simmons, both of Sacramento; three stepdaughters, Mikki Williams of Las Vegas, Lisa Anderson of Boulder City and Lori Berry of Columbia, Mo.; one stepson, Mike Harrel of Phoenix; and 15 grandchildren.

Sean Duane Vanater, 30, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 3, 1967, in Bellflower, Calif. A resident for 26 years, he was a concrete company mixer/driver, a Navy veteran and a member of Teamsters Local 631.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa; one daughter, Tabatha Alford of Yucca Valley, Calif.; two sons, Sean E. Vanater and Kyler P. Vanater, and his mother and stepfather, Sally and Ernest Scanlon, all of Las Vegas; his father, Phillip Vanater of California; two sisters, Jacqueline Ostrander and Denise Palmer, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Brian Vanater and Gary Vanater, both of Phoenix; 14 nieces and nephews and one grand-niece.

Samuel Zapata Jr., 23, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 25, 1975, in New York City. A resident for eight years, he was a plumber's helper at Bellagio hotel-casino.

He is survived by his mother, Annette Valentin, his father and stepmother, Samuel and Annette Zapata Sr., and one sister, Christine Zapata, all of Las Vegas; his grandparents, Laura Zapata and Cruz Rivera, and his great-grandparents, Anna Rodriquez and Wilfredo and Isidro Valentin, all of New York.
