Freshman defensive lineman Tommie Townsend is no longer attending Southern Cal and is considering transferring to Colorado State, according to the Los Angeles Daily News. Townsend, a 1997 graduate of Bonanza High, had orally committed to the Rams last year before signing with USC.
Townsend's departure, along with the graduation of Rancho High alum Dennis Tolbert, leaves the Trojans thin at the defensive tackle position.
