The Western Athletic Conference Council will be considering several proposals this weekend in Tucson to be forwarded to the league's presidents for final approval. Here are the three proposals:
Plan A
East-West Alignment
East Division
Texas-El Paso
Wyoming
Air Force
Colorado State
Rice
Tulsa
Southern Methodist
Texas Christian
West Division
UNLV
Utah
Brigham Young
New Mexico
Hawaii
San Diego State
San Jose State
Fresno State
Plan B
Same as Plan A except Air Force and New Mexico switch places with the Lobos in the East and the Falcons in the West.
Plan C
North-South
North Division
UNLV
Colorado State
Wyoming
Air Force
San Jose State
Fresno State
Brigham Young
Utah
South Division
Hawaii
San Diego State
