"I'm not thinking about it. I'm not considering it. On Monday, I'm filing for another four years," he said at a news conference on the court house steps.
Gammick introduced his top associates as "the prosecution team for the 21st Century."
Gammick was elected to the top job after serving 10 years as chief deputy district attorney in the criminal division and said that after three years in the job, he still has things he wants to do.
"There are violent and repeat offenders who don't listen and never learn. We've got to go after them for at least another four years," he said.
"I have not thought about not running ever, he said. "I like what I'm doing."
While nobody has indicated any plans to oppose Gammick, he said, "to replace this team would be devastating to this county."
