Letter: Don’t be fooled by petition supporters
Wednesday, April 29, 1998 | 10:53 a.m.
Case in point: the so-called "worker's rights" initiative currently being circulated on our streets. It says it's about workers and fairness. It's really about power for a few and paperwork for many.
Don't be fooled by the big lie. Nevada's working men and women didn't ask for this, and they don't need it. It's just a ploy to give more power to a small group of radicals, burden our businesses with unnecessary paperwork and hurt our economy.
Please don't sign. Tell those people asking for your signature that you won't be fooled. This initiative is removing workers' rights, not the other way around.
