Temporary Assistance for Domestic Crisis Inc., an emergency shelter and counseling program for victims of domestic violence, will hold an awards ceremony to recognize volunteers and those who have donated to the shelter.
Comedian Louie Anderson will host the event and Republican gubernatorial candidate Kenny Guinn will present the awards.
The ceremony, to be held at the Desert Inn hotel-casino May 29, will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. For more information about the ceremony or the shelter call 368-1533.
