Esther Bernice Bailey, 80, of Henderson died Sunday. She was born Sept. 6, 1917, in Oakland, Calif. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Cathy A. Wilson of Henderson; three sons, Edward F. Buchanan of Reno, Richard M. Buchanan of San Leandro, Calif., and Robert J. Bailey of Sandy, Utah; one sister, Lucy H. Rodrigues of Riverside, Calif.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

FELIX CHOROMANSKI

Felix Choromanski, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1918, in Cleveland. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired sheet metal worker for an air conditioning company, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Catholic War Veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; one daughter, Del Bean of Las Vegas; four sisters, Marie Carrish, Martha Stelmach, Joanne Stokowski and Jane Vitcavage, all of Cleveland; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

MICHAEL RICHARD DICKEY

Michael Richard Dickey, 48, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 12, 1949, in Henderson. A resident for 15 years, he was a hotel chief engineer.

JOHN DIMAGGIO

John DiMaggio, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 23, 1923, in New York City. A resident for six years, he was a retired owner-operator of a doughnut franchise, a World War II Army veteran and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Scottsdale, Ariz.

He is survived by his wife, Julia; two daughters, Joan Coffey and Antoinette Olivieri, both of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three sisters, Ann Giordano and Rose DiMaggio, both of Las Vegas, and Rose McGee of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Rosario DiMaggio of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Ralph DiMaggio of Staten Island, N.Y.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will continue until a 6 p.m. parastas service today and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

VELMA LUCILLE DURHAM

Velma Lucille Durham, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 2, 1929, in Kingman, Kan. A resident from 1940-46 and most recently for the past eight years, she was a homemaker and a 1946 graduate of Las Vegas High School.

She is survived by two sons, Allen Durham of Las Vegas and Michael Durham of Boise, Idaho; two daughters, Cindy Sermeno of Las Vegas and Linda Malone of Murtaugh, Idaho; one brother, James Sears of Wichita, Kan.; one sister, Opal Bock of Rentonville, Ark.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

ZENAIDA Z. GARCIA

Zenaida Z. Garcia, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 1, 1929, in the Philippines. A resident for four years, she was a finger printer at the police department and a member of the Philippine Bisayan Association.

She is survived by two sons, Raymundo Garcia and Jose Marie Garcia, and one sister, Gloria Bulaon, all of the Philippines; four daughters, Angelina Garcia of Canada, Maria Walker of Las Vegas and Zenaida Isidro and Georgina Plenago, both of the Philippines; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-6 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

ERNEST HARSANY

Ernest Harsany, 76, of Henderson died Saturday. He was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Chicago. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired electrician, a World War II Navy veteran, past exalted ruler and life member of the Elks Lodge in Henderson and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Helen; one daughter, Donna Lee Korthuis of Henderson; one son, Larry Bogut of Las Vegas; three sisters, Shirley Kurry, Irene Sommerfeld and Jean Marine, all of Chicago; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Nat Karchem, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 23, 1926, in Baltimore. A resident for three years, he was a deli clerk and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Daniel Karchem of Chevy Chase, Md., and David Penunuri of North Hills, Calif.; two daughters, Nadine Porat of Denver and Eva Cohen of Baltimore; two brothers, Alfred Karchem of Henderson and Norman Karchem of Santa Monica, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services were 10 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

FAYE V. LINEAWEAVER

Faye V. Lineaweaver, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 24, 1910, in Waterson, Iowa. A resident for 32 years, she was a retired waitress at several local restaurants.

She is survived by three daughters, Dauphine Bertuccini and Faye Gunter, both of Las Vegas, and Stephanie Townsley of Chicago; three brothers, Jack Fletchall and Keith Fletchall, both of Las Vegas, and James Fletchall of Sheridan, Wyo.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Wednesday with a rosary included at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Concordia F. Magat, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 16, 1918, in Masantol, Philippines. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Santiago L.; two daughters, Marilyn M. Canilao of Las Vegas and Nitz M. Jajalla of the Philippines; one brother, Ronald F. Magat of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

ROBERT GEORGE MCNUTT

Robert George McNutt, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 27, 1926, in Indiana. A resident for four years, he was an aerospace buyer and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; three sons, Randy McNutt, Robert McNutt and Robert W. Jack; and six grandchildren.

Irene B. Niklai, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Henderson. A resident for 10 years, she was born May 10, 1912, in Russellville, Ark.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph; one daughter, Patricia; one son, John; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

TONY JUNIOR PRESCOTT

Tony Junior Prescott, 37, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 16, 1960, in New Jersey. A resident for 30 years, he was an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by his father, Eugene; his mother, Mildred; one brother, Eddie Prescott; and one sister, Tina Shay.

Dolly C. Quackenbush, 61, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born April 21, 1937, in Upland, Calif. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Richmond; three sons, Pat L. Carter Jr., Brian Carter and Ronald Carter; one brother, Leo C. Valadez; and two grandchildren.

Howard Rotenberger, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 3, 1924, in New York City. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired mail handler and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Fred Truesdale and Glenn Truesdale, both of Sacramento; two daughters, Lynne Truesdale of Sacramento and Janet Fogg of Las Vegas; one sister, Lorraine Rotenberger of Vero Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

FREIDA SCHNABLE

Freida Schnable, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 19, 1926, in Denver. A resident for 13 years, she was a communications supervisor and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert.

DIANA ELIZABETH SEITZ

Diana Elizabeth Seitz, 47, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 22, 1951, in Kansas. A resident for 25 years, she was a data entry clerk for a magazine wholesaler.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; her mother, Kathryn; and one brother, Richard Davis.

Services will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

HELEN SIPOLA

Helen Sipola, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born June 16, 1914, in Minnesota. A resident for 48 years, she was a Clark County School District custodian and the first custodian at Rancho High School.

She is survived by one nephew, Daniel Sibelrud of Las Vegas.

HARRY MARCUS SMITH

Harry Marcus Smith, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 14, 1917, in New York. A resident for 35 years, he was a truck driver, a Navy veteran and a member of the Teamsters Union.

He is survived by two sons, Dean Smith and Dale Smith; and eight grandchildren.

Charles Joseph Stagnaro, 66, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 5, 1931, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 23 years, he was a baggage clerk for TWA for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, Hiroko; his mother, Elizabeth Stagnaro, and two sisters, Louise Stagnaro and Mary Lazauskas, all of Las Vegas.

William C. Snow of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born in California. A resident for two years, he was a taxicab driver for Nellis Cab Co.

He is survived by his wife, Traci; two daughters, Sarah and Christine; his mother, Arlene Snow, his father, Gordon Crumb, one brother, Chris Snow, and one sister, Joan Silva, all of California; and his grandmother, Frances Snow.

Adelene Etolla White, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 24, 1934, in Owensville, Mo. A resident for nine years, she was a retired cafeteria supervisor at McDonnell Douglas.

She is survived by her husband, Morris; three daughters, Cynthia Florea of Berkley, Mo., Clarinda Baethke of Maryland Heights, Mo., and Christine Bloecher of St. Charles, Mo.; two brothers, Charles Holzschwh of Owensville and Carl Holzschwh of Gerald, Mo.; three sisters, Willadeen Carpenter of Bland, Mo., Adoree Brandt of Owensville and Mary Jane Angell of Gerald, Mo.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Rick Yeaman, 35, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 31, 1963, in Fresno, Calif. A resident for 20 years, he was a glass shop owner-operator.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; one daughter, Kimberly Booth, and his mother, Betty Jean Yeaman, both of Las Vegas; and one brother, Wayne Yeaman.
