Two drowned at Lake Mead

The victims, both men, were believed to be from Las Vegas, Karen Whitney, spokeswoman for the park service, said. A pilot in a National Park Service airplane spotted the boat at 7:10 a.m., she said.
The boat, a 14-foot Kapri sailboat, was capsized between Indian Canyon Cove and Sandy Cove on the Arizona side of the Lake, Whitney said.
The first body was found floating near the boat, rangers said.
A second body was found inside the boat about 9 a.m.
"The vessel most probably capsized on the bay and the wind probably carried it to the location it was found," Whitney said.
Rangers did not know what caused the boat to capsize, Whitney said.
"We got a call last night that there was a sailboat that had gone out earlier in the day and had not returned to camp," she said. "We don't have a clue what happened. They were last seen at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kingman Wash."
