Brothers sentenced in weapons case

U.S. District Judge David Hagen on Monday Kevin Patrick Storms, 26, to 10 years in prison for selling pipe bombs to a federal informant.
Kevin Storms was a former Storey County reserve deputy sheriff.
His brother, Robert Storms, 30, was sentenced to three years on his conviction of selling illegally converted machine guns.
The brothers and former sheriff's deputy Griffith Rausch were arrested last summer.
Federal authorities initially said the men intended to use the weapons against the federal government and were part of an unnamed militia group. But no evidence supporting that claim was developed during Robert Storms' trial in January.
Kevin Storms had pleaded guilty earlier.
The status of the case against Rausch remains unknown. Rausch was scheduled for a change of plea hearing on the same day Kevin Storms pleaded guilty, but that proceeding was sealed by the court.
