Lee made her Paris debut in 1989 at the Salle Gaveau Recital Hall after winning first prize in the annual competition at Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. She has also appeared as a soloist with the Peabody Symphony Orchestra and the York Symphony ORchestra, and appeared throughout the United States and Canada in solo and chamber-music recitals. On the CD "An American Collag," released by Albany Records, she is heard with mezzo-soprano D'Anna Fortunato performing three sets of American songs.

Lee is a founding member of the Aurelian Trio, which was in residence 1992-93 at Bucknell University. In 1994, she joined the faculty of Pomona College, having previously taught at Yale, Bucknell University and the Crane School of Music of the State University of New York at Potsdam.
