That's the scene that received the most votes of three proposed to people in the phone company's coverage area.
Runners up were a picture of horseback riders and a rural ranch.
The winning photo, announced here on Tuesday, was made by Peter Spain of Silver King Productions. It was randomly matched to the Truckee Meadows Community College Foundation's high school book awards program, which received $5,000.
The horseback photo earned the Nature Conservancy a $3,000 donation. The Reno-Sparks Theater Community Coalition received $2,000 for being paired with the ranch photo.
The three entries were displayed in area newspapers and were voted on last month via Nevada Bell voice mail, mail-in ballots and in ballot boxes placed throughout the utility's service area.
