Wooster football coach retires

Joe Sellers, one of the most successful high school football coaches in Nevada, is retiring after 22 years at Wooster High School in Reno. Sellers, 52, has been named vice principal at the school and said Wednesday he will give up his football coaching duties. During his 22 years, Wooster won 206 games, lost 34 and captured seven state championships. "I never dreamed of having the kind of success we were able to have," Sellers said. "I never dreamed I'd hang around long enough to get all my boys through the program. I couldn't be luckier." His four sons, Luke, Jake, Joe and Bo, played for him.
