Letter: Solution offered for handling Arkansas shooters
Wednesday, April 8, 1998 | 11:34 a.m.
Some time ago I read a story in the Reader's Digest that I feel fills the answer.
The alfa wolf just returned from hunting to bring food for his young and mate. One cub was badly mauling another and it was yelping its head off. The alfa wolf went over and just growled. The troublesome cub obeyed and stopped picking on the other pup.
Later in the day the alfa once again returned and found the same cub up to the old tricks. At this point, the alfa wolf walked up to pup, which was still tormenting one of his brothers, snapped it up in his jaws, shook his head twice and threw the body out of the nest.
End of problem.
