Two men to face trial in death of UNR cheerleader
Tuesday, April 7, 1998 | 8:51 a.m.
Reno Justice of the Peace Daniel Wong on Monday determined there is enough evidence for the case against Ryan Moore, 17, and Charles Morris, 21, to proceed.
The two are accused in the Feb. 8 killing of Branson Clark.
Clark, 20, was shot in his car while delivering food to an apartment complex in northwest Reno.
According to court testimony, the defendants and two others planned to steal from people they thought were dealing drugs and that Clark walked into the middle of it.
Police said Moore and Morris have admitted to being in the area at the time of the robbery, but deny shooting Clark.
Police are looking for two other suspects, but no further arrests have been made.
