A homeless man's death is being investigated as a homicide after his body turned up Sunday morning wrapped in a blanket.
A caller notified Metro Police after making the discovery near the railroad tracks just west of the 3200 block of Industrial Road. Sgt. Rocky Alby said investigators had yet to determine the man's identity, but they believe him to be about 40 years old.
Homicide detectives spoke to people living in the area and were told that the victim, a white male, lived in a camp, but few of the people knew anything about him, Alby said.
