The body of a man found hanging from a Lunt Elementary School jungle gym died from asphyxiation, the Clark County Coroner's office said.
The death Thursday of 20-year-old Donnyell Gray Traylor was ruled a suicide, a coroner's office spokeswoman said.
Traylor's body was found by city maintenance workers at 6 a.m. in the schoolyard, on Harris Street near Eastern Avenue and Bonanza Road.
A nylon strap, similar to a gym bag strap, had been tied around the victim's neck, Sgt. Mike Thompson said.
The man was wearing a jacket and blue jeans. The jeans were found around the man's ankles. Investigators believe the jeans fell down because they were baggy, Thompson said.
