A contract providing a 6.9 percent raise over the next two years was approved Tuesday night by the Clark County School District's support staff union, which voted 878-122. The old contract expired July 1 and the new contract is retroactive to that date. There are 5,000 members of the Education Support Employees Association. The contract, which also includes a 1 percent incentive bonus for the workers, amounts to about $13 million.
