Ron Mortensen questioned about assault accusations

The attorney for Ron Mortensen says his client has been questioned by Metro officers about the claim by 26-year-old Carrye Morris.

Morris claims Christopher Brady stopped her car in the pre-dawn hours last October, then forced her, while she was handcuffed, to perform oral sex on him.

Andrew Myers, an attorney representing Morris, says he will ask the FBI to begin a civil rights investigation into the allegations. Myers said he doesn't feel Metro can investigate itself properly.

Morris has said Mortensen was at the traffic stop last October.

Mortensen was convicted of murder in the December shooting death of Daniel Mendoza. Brady was with him at the time but was not charged in the shooting. Both men accused the other of firing the fatal shot.

Both Mortensen and Brady resigned from the department following the shooting.
