Lois R. Smith, 86, of Boulder City, died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1909, in Amarillo, Texas. A 15-year resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Stauffer of Boulder City, and Shirley Scown of Lehi, Utah; one son, Russell Smith of Applegate, Ore.; one brother, Knox Ray of Rusk, Texas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-5 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Entombment will follow in Palm Memorial Park's Mausoleum, Henderson.
The family suggests donations to Southern Nevada Parkinson's Disease Support Group.
