On the highway, seniors victims of discrimination

Well, so far we have outlasted Dan. We have to face up to the fact, that because we are over 70, we are definitely discriminated against in more ways than one.
A couple of months ago our elected legislators in Carson City decided that all people between 25 and 70 years could renew driver's licenses by mail. The SUN said it is a big success in relieving long lines at the DMV. After waiting 40 minutes in line, I finally gave up and waited three more weeks to go to the Senior Citizens Club in Henderson. Thankfully, I had plenty of time before renewing my license.
I contacted by legislators and was told that most accidents are caused by older drivers. I have been watching the papers to see how many recent accidents have been caused by us oldsters. So far, only one. All the rest were caused by real young drivers and people between 25 and 60.
I feel if we are over 70 and too old to mail in for our driver's license, we should be too old to vote, pay our car insurance, pay our taxes and our high license fees for our car license just because we have to put up with the lines at the DMV to get an eye test.
If we don't stand up and voice our opinions soon, it's hard to tell what they will do to us next. We are still responsible citizens and should not be discriminated against.
