The Nevada Public Service Commission is expected April 22 to accept the settlement submitted Monday.
Southwest Gas Corp. had asked for a $15.8 million general rate increase. That was reduced to $10.6 million under the agreement. That hike will be offset by lower costs to purchase natural gas and transport it to Southern Nevada.
