CHARLES JOSEPH O'NEILL

Charles Joseph O'Neill, 65, of Gresham, Ore., died Friday in an Oregon hospital. He was born June 27, 1930, in Boston. A former 34-year Las Vegas resident, he was an engineer with the Nevada Power Company and retired as operations and maintenance supervisor in 1991. He was a World War II Army veteran and served in the National Guard during the Korean War and received a Bronze Star.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; two daughters, Kelly Lohoff of Las Vegas, and Susan Delong of Boston; one son, Charles Tocci of Minoa, N.Y.; four stepchildren, Meredith Ellis, Pamela Clark and Kenneth Ellis, all of Las Vegas, and Robin Mallwite of Shortsville, N.Y.; his mother, Florence O'Neill of Manchester, N.H.; one brother, James O'Neill of Ocala, Fla.; and one sister, Florence Riley of Warner, Mass.

Bateman Carroll Funeral Chapel in Oregon, handled arrangements.
