Rebs Slip By Ducks

Seventh-ranked UNLV, paced by Glen Gondrezick's 21 points, ran its record to 2-0 Wednesday night by defeating Oregon, 78-67, at Las Vegas Convention Center.

It was the Rebel's 41st straight victory on their home court.

The Rebels, who shot poorly from the field, made up for it on the free throw line. They converted 40 of 52 attempts.

Oregon's Greg Ballard was the game's top scorer with 34 points, 21 coming in the second half.
