High Performance Physical Therapy Clinic Specializing in Athletes and Dancers Opens in Henderson

(Las Vegas) - Las Vegas Valley athletes and dancers now have a new option for dealing with injuries and improving their performance as Athletes Physiotherapy, LLC opens in Henderson within Van Hook Sports Performance at 900 W. Warm Springs Rd, Suite 103, Henderson, NV 89011. Currently open with part-time hours as of August 1st, the official full opening is set for September 1st, 2014 and they are currently booking new patients.

"It is very exciting to be able to create a non-traditional physical therapy practice, and offer these services in a way that maximizes the client's recovery and gets them back to performing at their peak!," said Kristopher Bosch, Athletes Physiotherapy owner and Doctor of Physical Therapy. "So often athletes and dancers are returned to the performance phase, i.e. competition or a full show schedule, right out of rehab without getting into high performance training to prepare them for that load. This is often due to insurance limitations, high volume treatment settings, or simply a lack of specialization in High Performance Physical Therapy."

According to Bosch, Athletes Physiotherapy positions it's clients for success by offering one-on-one patient care in 1 hour sessions provided by a Doctor of Physical Therapy only. Treatment is tailored to the individual needs of each person using a whole-body approach to treatment. Bosch uses advanced training in Orthopedic Manual Therapy and Dry Needling, along with extensive training in movement assessment, Pilates, strength training, and 15 years as a Certified Athletic Trainer to address the rehabilitation and performance needs of the athletes and dancers he treats.

"Athletes Physiotherapy sees the full spectrum," says Bosch. "From high school athletes and young aspiring dancers all the way up to your professionals and Olympic hopefuls. We do see non-athletes with various orthopedic isseus as well. Our services like dry needling and performance taping are great for the CrossFit and martial arts/MMA populations, and the Martial Arts Performance Screen is also gaining attention in the community.
