Published on Sat, Jul 26, 2014 (3:31 p.m.)

Salt Lick Records announces today the Country Punk n’ Roll Tour with its roster of artists Riva Rebels and Lorin Walker Madsen will hit the Double Down bar 4640 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89169 on Friday August 15, 2014.
“The goal of the tour is to take two different styles of music with essentially the same rebellious spirit and put it all in one venue,” said Salt Lick’s Josh Madsen.
The Country Punk n’ Roll tour will consist of Salt Lake’s three-piece punk outfit Riva Rebels along side label mates Lorin Walker Madsen and The Hustlers, who play their own version of country music.
The tour is set to cover the western United States with 25 dates announced.
Riva Rebels was formed in the spring of 2012 by Josh Madsen (guitar & vox), Germ (drums & backup vox), and Ron Prince (bass). “Their first single “Family” was recently released on Salt Lick Records with a full-length slated to be released in early 2015.
Lorin Walker Madsen is a musician based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has been playing music for over fifteen years and writing music for almost as long. Within a few years of first picking up an instrument, Lorin began collaborating with other musicians; eventually forming and performing with a number of bands over the years. He spent the past ten years touring the U.S. in some of these bands, namely The Lauderdale and Blackhounds.
