LAS VEGAS (July 15, 2014) – McDonald’s announced today the winner of its BigMac444 Twitter sweepstakes. A grand-prize of 444 Big Mac burgers has been awarded to Southern Nevada resident Thomas Keplinger. The prize will be presented to Keplinger in the form of punch card vouchers redeemable at participating Southern Nevada restaurant locations throughout the next two years.

The contest was launched in support of McDonald’s 2 for $4.44 Big Mac promotion available at participating Southern Nevada restaurant locations. To enter the sweepstakes, Twitter users ages 18 and older were asked to send a tweet to @McDonaldsVegas including the hashtag #BigMac444sweeps. The grand prize winner was determined at random from a database of all contest participants.

In addition to the grand prize winner, the first 444 entrants who participated in the sweepstakes received a voucher redeemable for one complimentary Big Mac.

“The Big Mac is an iconic representation of the McDonald’s brand so it’s only fitting to celebrate it in a big way,” said James Vance, president of the Greater Las Vegas Operator Association. “The BigMac444 sweepstakes was a heated competition and our lucky winner beat out nearly 1,000 Big Mac enthusiasts to claim the grand prize.”

Throughout the year, McDonald’s offers a variety of promotions for community members to enjoy quality products at affordable prices.
