Local Entrepreneurs Assisting Local Growth, Focusing on Global Impact

Las Vegas, Nevada – Local entrepreneurs, Ken and Linda Baxter, are announcing the creation of two new nonprofit organizations focused on local growth and global impact. Green Global and Made In America have each been created as an answer to local, statewide, national and global issues. “Seeing the needs, we’re answering the call for positive change and impact to Nevadan and global ecology, education and economies,” says Ken Baxter.

Green Global is a nonprofit organization created to promote the engagement and change needed in addressing the impact we all have on the environment, and how we can promote the health of the earth. It’s mission is dedicated to climate change awareness and providing the resources that are necessary to educate people globally that “green” is the way to go so that our generation and generations to come, will observe positive world growth, instead of climate and natural resource destruction. “Linda and I were profoundly impacted on our trip to the Amazon in March 2012. We expected to see the pristine forests and river, and quickly found that the reality is a quickly depleting forest and man’s impact on the river of this vast expanse known as the pulse of the planet,” says Baxter.

Green Global has three targets for its awareness, education, and advancement programs: people, business and government. It addresses issues, like water processing and consumption and ecosystem destruction. We understand that climate change influencers have worldwide impacts. Our similarly broad programming meets this challenge with solutions that can be used as models around the world. Program objectives for Green Global are to educate the public on the human causes and effects of climate change; to encourage people to adopt green changes, promoting the adoption of existing and emerging environmental technologies, and advocating for governmental best practices. The Green Global motto for everyone is “small changes make a big impact.”

Additionally, Made In America’s mission is dedicated to rebuilding the manufacturing strength that has been the backbone of this country, reigniting America’s economic recovery. Rekindling our economy through manufacturing growth, bringing training and jobs back to America and for America is the link in growing our economy. Partnerships are an important part of the Made in America mission in directly impacting growth.

The cornerstone to reignite America’s economy is addressing the skills gap, providing for prospective workers’ skills through educational programs and connecting them with the needed demand from the manufacturing sector.

Made in America’s programs include strengthening the manufacturing sector through retention and recruitment efforts; closing the skills gap through educational partnering and training; revitalizing the image of American manufacturing to reflect worker overall career benefits; and, supporting government partnerships and programs for building a stronger marketplace. “Linda and I see it as our duty to promote patriotic spending, to help lead the way to America’s economic recovery,” commented Baxter. “If the US were to spend just five percent more on American made products, it would help create one million jobs directly and another million jobs indirectly.
