ST. PAUL — Grover Norquist, movement conservative extraordinaire, spoke to assembled Arizona delegates this morning at breakfast. Some Nevada delegates, not having their own breakfasts, have joined the Arizona folks.
Norquist blasted Obama for proposing to raise taxes, especially on dividens and capital gains, which would de-value equities, he said.
Interesting lines: Democrats (on taxes) are like teenage boys on a prom date. They keep asking the same question in different ways.
We want to change Washington. They want to change America.
Norquist once called Obama "John Kerry with a tan."
I would not normally think of Norquist's description of Obama as racist, but since he is such a hateful little man, it's possible. I wonder if he doesn't know any better because the rich people he kisses up to take their capital gains tax cuts and help fund his morally corrupt organization.
Increased corporate taxes reduce profits and dividends. Most assets from everyone's retirement system are in equities. This includes our public employees. Do you realize if the corporate taxes go up what they don't recover in increased prices reduces your retirement. People, corporations are companies owned by the people, they are owned by the public and the public is who receives the profit.
The retirement assets, those not wiped out by the "Clinton Economic Downturn of Accounting Magic and Corporate Rape of >2000", of millions are in the asset classes liberals want to over-tax, tie-up, attack MORE tax, "fairness and hopechange".
The Corporate lie-downs - the false accounting wealth which blew up in 2001 or so. What was it, 2-3 trillion in losses == then 9/11 (planned throughout the 90s) - another 3-4 trillion from that "all-in"....and so forth, then "bubble Boy", Alan G opens up the eco-spicket to HIGH, and we're recovering now from that as well. See the Eco-Stats the last 2-3 qtrs. AMERICA is RECOVERING.
Personal wealth and openness IS the answer, the American WAY. Americans have always been most of all they tried to be. It is named responsibility. The tax and tie-up lead-helmet liberal socialists want our freedoms.

Gee, Neiman, is that why income equality goes up under Republicans and down under Democrats, and why the GNP increases faster under Democrats than under Republicans? The only problem with your point is the facts.
