Marvin Campbell broke two College of Southern Nevada baseball records Sunday in the Coyotes’ 16-13 victory over Cypress (Calif.) College.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound left-handed-hitting first baseman smacked a pair of grand slams to drive in eight runs.

Both were CSN firsts.

It was the first two home runs for the freshman first baseman out of Las Vegas High. He has knocked in a team-high 19 runs. He’s hitting .235 and is slugging .490, third-best on the Coyotes.

CSN (8-8) plays host to the College of Southern Idaho in doubleheaders Friday and Saturday.
