The creative minds at SportsFanLive.com have come up with another idea that will surely make sports fan salivate.
Last month SportsFanLive launched an iPhone application to find sports bars anywhere in the nation as well as which team that bar is loyal to. Now, they've created a site to compile Twitter tweets from athletes in real time at AthleteTweets.com.
Everyone from Shaquille O'Neal to Lance Armstrong post updates on Twitter.
"Athletes have begun using Twitter en masse, and it is profoundly changing the way they communicate with their fans," David Katz, the founder and CEO of SportsFanLive.com said in a press release. "They are taking us with them into the locker room and out with their friends. It's the best reality show not on television."
One local example came from Eldorado High graduate and current St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson.
At exactly 4:17 p.m. Wednesday, Jackson tweeted, "I get a rush from, racing to the airport.. I hate sitting @ airport for hours."
