Defenseman Adam Pardy became the first Las Vegas Wranglers skater to play in the National Hockey League on Thursday night.
He made his NHL debut with the Calgary Flames in their 6-0 defeat at Vancouver.
As a rookie for the Wranglers in 2005-06, Pardy scored one goal and collected 11 assists. He also had 55 penalty minutes in 41 regular-season games. He had two goals and an assist in 10 Kelly Cup playoff games.
Goalie Dany Sabourin, who played in Las Vegas in 2003-04, became the first Wrangler to play in the NHL when he was called up to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2005-06.
