Tickets to the Dance

For fans who fancy a trip to Omaha, Neb., to support the Rebels basketball team, the athletic department Web site has this advice:

"UNLV fans who wish to purchase tickets to the 2008 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship can visit UNLVRebels.com to download the ticket application form. The form will be available off a link on the front page at UNLVRebels.com on Sunday evening (March 16).

"The completed form must be faxed to 702-895-1204 or returned to the Thomas & Mack Center ticket office. Orders must be received no later than 6 p.m. on Monday, March 17.

"After submitting the completed form, email notifications will be sent by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18 to the email address submitted on the form.

"The NCAA allocates a limited number of tickets to each participating school. UNLV will allocate tickets to interested fans in accordance with the UNLV postseason ticket policy, which is based upon priority points.

"A limited number of tickets will available for students and UNLV faculty/staff for purchase and they must call 702-895-1223 between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Monday. All student and faculty/staff names submitted will be put in a lottery and the names will be drawn. All winners will be contacted by email.

"Those purchasing tickets must pick up tickets at the site of the game with a valid ID. The exact pickup location will be posted at UNLVRebels.com. There will be no advance pick-up. For any questions, please call 702-895-3679.

"For information regarding NCAA Tournament travel, visit AnthonyTravel.com and search "UNLV" or call 800-736-6377. Travel accommodations do not include game tickets. More information will be released when available. Check UNLVRebels.com."
