UNLV alters future non-conference football schedules

The UNLV athletics department on Thursday announced date changes to some upcoming football non-conference games, namely with two Big Ten foes - Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The Rebels' next game against the Badgers, a series dating back to 1985, will now see Wisconsin come to Las Vegas on Sept. 4, 2010, and a return trip for UNLV to Madison on Sept. 3, 2011. The locations were originally flip-flopped.

Also, the program's upcoming series with Minnesota was pushed back two years. Originally, the Golden Gophers were supposed to come to Sam Boyd Stadium in 2010. Now, though, the Rebels play host on Sept. 1, 2012, while a trip back to Minneapolis is set for Aug. 31, 2013.
