L.A. picks Terry in 4th round of D-League draft

Former UNLV swingman Curtis Terry was selected in the fourth round of the NBA Development League draft Saturday night.

The Los Angeles D-Fenders, for whom ex-Rebel Wendell White played last season, nabbed Terry with the fourth pick of the fourth round.

Terry, 23, played 133 games at UNLV. As a senior last season, he averaged 11.1 points and was an All-Mountain West Conference third-team selection.

He helped the Rebels win a game in a second consecutive NCAA tournament for the first time since 1991. UNLV defeated Kent State before losing to eventual national champion Kansas.
