UNLV keeps getting better in Australia.

Led by sophomore guard Kendall Wallace’s 25 points, the Rebels thrashed the South West Metro Pirates, 97-55, on Tuesday night in Brisbane.

Wink Adams had 15 points, Rene Rougeau and Tre’Von Willis scored 13 apiece and Mareceo Rutledge tallied 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Rebels went 12-for-19 from beyond the 3-point line in the first half and finished the game 16-for-34 from long range inside the Queensland Academy of Sport’s Athletics Centre.

UNLV slapped South West with a 25-2 run in the first quarter and led by as many as 45 points.

The Rebels are 4-1 on their tour of Australia and finish against the Cairns Marlins, which could be their toughest test, on Wednesday night.
