UNLV officials announced Thursday afternoon that 790 tickets are available for Saturday's basketball game against Arizona at the Thomas & Mack Center.

That does not include tickets that have been allocated to students. Since finals ended last week, it isn't certain how filled the student section will be for the game against the Wildcats.

UNLV and Arizona play at noon, and the Wildcats' football team plays in the Las Vegas Bowl, against BYU, later that day.

A year ago, a crowd of 13,676 watched UNLV lose, 52-49, to Arizona at the Mack. Despite losing the past two games to Arizona, UNLV has a 9-6 edge in the series.

The Rebels haven't played before a crowd of 19,000 since 1991. Capacity for the arena is 18,500. Demand and interest has gone beyond that, but only rarely.

Tickets are available by calling 739-FANS or visiting unlvtickets.com. Saturday morning, the Thomas & Mack Center box office is scheduled to open at 9 a.m.
