Cain announces he’ll boycott NV caucus, then his NV team invites folks to caucus training seminars

GOP presidential hopeful Cain wants it both ways -- like eating pizza but not gaining weight.

He wants to boycott the Nevada caucus to genuflect to New Hampshire with four non-entity GOP contenders:

But in a blast emails sent today by his Nevada coordinator, the Cain folks say the former pizza godfather's "favorite city" is Las Vegas and then gives instructions for how to get involved in a caucus he claims to be boycotting. You can't make this stuff up -- here's most of the missive:

Mr. Cain returns to his favorite city in the country….Las Vegas as the front runner! He is sure to continue his upward trajectory as winner at Tuesday’s CNN debate. Mr. Cain will also be speaking at the Western Republican Leadership Conference as well as many other meet and greets around the city Oct 18-19th.

Position: Precinct Captain

(approx. 1-4 hr/wk on your own time schedule) Must be able to walk or make phone calls

Qualification: Registered Republican, experience in Voter Vault Software is a plus but not mandatory. We will train.

Job Duty: The primary duty of a precinct captain is to represent Herman Cain in your neighborhood and surrounding area (also called a precinct). As a precinct captain you have the opportunity to lead your caucus meeting, be a delegate to county convention, state convention, or even the national convention.

Benefit: The best thing about being a precinct captain is reaching out to other likeminded neighbors and meeting new people who have the same core values as you. You will be a resource and point of contact in your community for a presidential candidate. Herman Cain is a constitutional conservative fiscally and socially. He is not a politician; he is a long time successful executive, and throughout his corporate climb used common sense solutions to achieve results. Position: Phone Conductor

Qualification: Be able to read a script (time commitment 1 hr or more per week

Job Duty: Make phone calls to supporters of Mr. Cain and bring people aboard the Cain Train.

Benefit: Will be able to meet with other Cain supporters and take part in a point system to receive awards and special opportunities at political events.
