That's the description of the Local 1908 contract in an internal fire department email I have obtained and that was used in the recent arbitration case won by Clark County. And this: "If we could at least make the appearance of holding the contract in some regard, I would be appreciative."

In another email, a firefighter outlines his plan for taking some days off -- "all sick days if I can work it out...."

The names have been redacted. But the emails are astounding. Hello, FBI?

  2. In this day of instant information let's see the annual individual salaries including OT of each fireman (no names) by station. It should be available for the tax paying public. This would give all of us a true picture of just how deep these salary scams are.

    This is a disgusting disgrace.

  4. Why is Steve Sisolak the only elected official in Clark County to take any action regarding this on-going theft?

    It will be very interesting to see how much money LOCAL 1908 contributed to the very same politicians who continue to turn a blind eye to this crime.
