State Democrats weigh in on House special election, say “inappropriate” to allow parties to decide candidates

Tuesday, April 26, 2011 | 3:23 p.m.

Not surprisingly, this is the opposite of the GOP opinion, posted elsewhere on this blog, which says the central committees should decide, thus diminishing Sharron Angle's chances. The Democrats, on the other hand, want a free-for-all to help Angle or one of their own -- Treasurer Kate Marshall is the favored choice of the powers that be -- score an upset.

Opinion at right.
